LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Earlier this week, Penn Jillette told Access Hollywood's "Dancing With the Stars" correspondent Mel B, that Kristi Yamaguchi is cheating.
"Kristi Yamaguchi, she is a cheater," he said. "She has been dancing 30 years professionally - on ice - to make it harder."

And today, the Olympic champ has her say on whether his accusations were serious.
"I think he was just doing it all in fun - you know - his sense of humor and everything," she said.

"I think he was kidding around," Kristi's dance partner, Mark Ballas said. "And [he] went a little bit too far with it as well."
Things began Tuesday night after Kristi left the competition in the dust with the highest week one score in "Dancing with The Stars" history - 27 out of 30.

After Penn shared his comments with Mel B, he found his way over to Kristi and Mark.
"He just said he was sorry," Mark said.

"Right after it happened, he was, 'Oh! Sorry, just didn't mean to go that far with it,'" Kristi recounted.
But does she think she has an advantage from her ice-skating background?
"Believe me, it wasn't just me, it's him," Kristi said, referring to Mark. "Every detail. He'd stop and move my fingers, he'd stop and move my elbow. He is so amazing with the attention to details."
