Kristen Stewart and Other ‘Twilight’ Stars Talk ’50 Shades of Grey’

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson might be back together

Don't expect to see Kristen Stewart in the movie based on "50 Shades of Grey" - she thinks the erotic novel about a BDSM relationship is creepier than a book about a girl hooking up with a century-old dead guy.

Here's what K-Stew told Backstage magazine when she was asked if she's read the raunchy book: "Not really -- I've skimmed parts of it. When I read the first few pages describing her messy hair, I was like, 'This is so strange.'" K-Stew is pretty strange herself if a description of messy hair is what freaks her out about a book that features a truly terrifying tampon scene.

Earlier this year Kristen said that she might consider starring in the "50 Shades of Grey" movie after she reads the book, but it doesn't look like she's ever going to finish it. And it also doesn't look like her boyfriend Robert Pattinson is going to audition for the film. Here's what he told Talia Soghomonian about starring in the movie: "I think the author has written me out of it. I saw some interview earlier and they went, oh, it could never be him. And I'm like, 'Hey, I'm going to make you pay for that!'"

Rob was referring to "50 Shades" author E. L. James saying that it would be "weird" for him and K-Stew to get cast in the movie even though her erotic novel started out as "Twilight" fan fiction. In fact, Rob recently admitted that he read James' old fan fiction entitled "Master of Universe." And he's not completely turned off by her story - he told MTV News that he would "just sit there and lick the pages" if he joined a book club reading "50 Shades."

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's "Twilight" costars have also gotten in on the "50 Shades" craze. Kellan Lutz said that he's almost finished reading the book, and he seems somewhat interested in playing Christian Grey's brother Elliot (who is based on his "Twilight" character Emmett). Here's what he said to Parade about the movie: "I know Christian is the lead but that's why I didn't want to play Edward Cullen. He wasn't really like me. I'll trust the fans."

If Kristen doesn't get cast as Anastasia Steele, then maybe Ashley Greene will - at least she managed to finish the first book in the "50 Shades" series. Here's what she told Hollywood Life about reading the novels: "I feel like I kind of had to, it's now pop culture and they're making it into a film. I'm not finished with all of them, but I'm on the third book."

But don't expect Anna Kendrick to get kinky as Anastasia Steele - she got extremely embarrassed when a fan tried to talk to her about getting tied up by a hot guy on Bravo's "Watch What Happens: Live." Volturi vamp Dakota Fanning isn't as frightened by the thought of spending some time in Christian's Red Room of Pain - she said that she will "never say never to anything." However, just like Anna, she admits that she hasn't read the books yet.

So would you like to see a "Twilight" star in the "50 Shades" film?
