American Idol champ Kris Allen has a new gig.

The season 8 winner will belt out the National Anthem during game 2 of Sunday's NBA Finals between the L.A. Lakers and Orlando Magic. It'll be televised live on ABC.

He's not the first Idol to hit the court. Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks and David Cook have also sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at championship games.
