Kim Kardashian might have accomplished a lot in her reality career, but there's one thing that she hasn't dominated yet: Pregnancy.
The mom-to-be, who is due in July, has talked at length about wanting to have children, but she was never really ready until she started dating rapper Kanye West.
But, does she know what she got herself into with this new venture? Definitely not. The 32-year-old reality star has openly bantered about her misconceptions and challenges with this pregnancy.
Pregnancy is Hard
Kardashian's impromptu pregnancy announcement by boyfriend Kanye West during a late December 2012 concert took fans by surprise. All anyone wanted to know: What is pregnancy like?
Her answer? Not easy.
"When people say pregnancy is fun and they love it I would have to disagree," she told reporters on New Year's Eve. "I think from this stage on it does become easier, but it's adjusting."
Like, Really Hard
But, it's not any easier two months later. Kardashian now admits that pregnancy is nowhere near as simple as she thought it would be at this stage.
"Being pregnant, I will say, is not as easy as my sister [Kourtney] made it look or as my mom [Kris Jenner] has made it look," the 32-year-old told E! News at the Atlanta premiere of her debut movie, "Temptation."
"It's a little painful. I've gotten sick a couple times. It's getting a little bit more difficult [to get around]."
Pregnancy Style is Hard
Dealing with the sickness, cravings and weight gain aren't the only challenges Kardashian faces. The fashion lover admitted in a recent blog that she's having a difficult time adjusting to maternity wear.
"I've found that I've gained inches and I've gotten wider but my belly hasn't popped yet, so I struggle finding things that don't make me look heavy," Kardashian wrote on her blog Mar. 1. "At this stage I guess I'm more focused on concealing the weight gain than I am about dressing the bump…"
It's getting better, though: Kardashian showed off her growing belly at the "Temptations" premiere in a pair of black leather leggings, flowy lace top and minimal makeup. It's definitely the best she's looked in months.
