Kim Kardashian Wants Kate Middleton as Her New BFF (Sorry, Beyonce!)

Kim Kardashian has seemingly given up on pursuing a friendship with fellow bootylicious babe Beyonce and set her sights on joining an even more exclusive inner circle - Kimmy thinks that she and Kate Middleton should be BFFs.

Here's what Kim told Life & Style about the Duchess of Cambridge: "We'd love to [see Kate Middleton], are you kidding? We all love her! I'd call her up and ask her to lunch. She's amazing."

So why does the reality show star think that she and Kate would get along great? Here's a look at a few similarities they share:

A passion for recycling fashion

Kim has been in London promoting the Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins, and she made sure to commend Kate's style during an appearance on "The Lorraine Show." Here's what she said about the Duchess of Cambridge's habit of recycling her favorite pieces of clothing: "I think Kate is very stylish and it's ridiculous to assume you would wear something once and never wear it again."

Kim Kardashian has taken a page from Kate Middleton by recycling her own clothes - while filming "Kim and Kourtney Take Miami" last month, she was spotted wearing the same leather skirt three times in one week. However, it's possible that she had to recycle it since boyfriend Kanye West threw most of her old clothes out. Somehow it's hard to imagine Prince William clearing out Kate's closet in a similar manner (and it's also hard to imagine Kate wearing a leather skirt).

Embarrassing scandals

Since marrying Prince William, most of Kate's appearances on camera have been carefully staged - she and Will do their best to avoid the paparazzi whenever possible. However, Kim wouldn't be the big star that she is without cameras filming her every move, and she's such a fan of being filmed that she even starred in a sex tape.

But Kim wasn't comfortable with the sex tape leaking, so she sort of knows how Kate felt when her nude sunbathing photos leaked. The reality show tried to show that she commiserates with Kate and her camera troubles by saying, "We take holidays and you want that to be private, so we do struggle with the boundaries of whether to have the cameras around."

Big Weddings

Kim would probably love to ask Kate for wedding advice now that she has found another potential prince in 'Watch the Throne' singer Kanye West. In fact, Yeezy allegedly wants to have a massive televised wedding because he wants to prove that he and Kim can top the TV ratings that Will and Kate's big day got.

But don't expect to see Kim and Kate chatting about fashion and their favorite flavors of wedding cake over tea - while Kim would love to have a televised meeting with the Duchess, Kate isn't so keen about socializing with the sex tape star, and she snubbed Kim by declining to pair a Kardashian Kollection dress with "one of her hats." She probably doesn't own a leopard print fascinator, anyway.
