Kim Kardashian has admitted that she wants to be a mother, but is Kanye West ready to be a father?
The reality show star recently got grilled by Barbara Walters, and Babs didn't shy away from tough questions by asking Kim about marriage and mommyhood.
According to Us Weekly, Kim told Walters that she thinks Kanye is her "perfect match," and she said this about having a baby: "At the space that I am in life now, kids are definitely something I want. I think I wanted that before. I think I fell in love so quickly and wanted that to be my life so badly but I just didn't take the time to find someone."
It's not hard to imagine Kanye embracing the idea of fatherhood since he's got to keep up with the Carters - surely he envies his "Watch the Throne" tour mate Jay-Z for producing an heir to his throne. However, Yeezy could prove that he's still too immature to raise a kid by interrupting Kim's birth to declare that Beyonce had the best baby delivery of all time.
Kimye would probably see their baby as a brand bigger than Jay and Bey's Blue Ivy. But before designing disposable, fur-covered diapers, Kanye could create a maternity line that includes ugly, uncomfortable shoes. After wearing heels like these all day, giving birth would seem like a breeze. And breastfeeding would also be easy if he could create a maternity knockoff of this cut-out dress.
But don't expect Kimye's baby Kashinin to rock frilly frocks and compete in toddler pageants - Kris Jenner has allegedly bashed the kiddie competitions by complaining that fellow reality show mother June Thompson is exploiting her pageant princess daughter Alana Thompson on "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" (is it even necessary to point out the hypocrisy here?).
This is probably a good thing since the talent portion of the competitions could be tough for a Kimye kid. Last year Khloe Kardashian made this admission to Barbara Walters: "None of us think we have talent. none of us think we can sing or act or dance." She obviously forgot about Kim's awful attempt at singing entitled "Jam (Turn It Up)."
During that interview Kim labeled her filmed sexcapade with Ray J a "mistake," but her new boyfriend would beg to differ - in his song "Clique," Yeezy raps this: "Eat breakfast at Gucci. My girl a superstar all from a home movie."
Hopefully Kanye is as big of a fan of the end result of baby-making as he is of the act being filmed.
