Kim Kardashian Regains Title of Most-Searched Star

Following Kim Kardashian's three-month marriage to Kris Humphries, a former friend and one-time employee of the reality star claimed he had inside information proving Kim's relationship with the basketball star was a hoax. The publicist, Jonathan Jaxson, has now redacted his statements and publicly apologized for misleading the public.

"Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply first hand knowledge of Kim's thoughts and feelings," Jaxson said. "I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian. I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim's relationship with Kris."

Following Kris and Kim's 2011 divorce, Jaxson alleged that the couple faked their relationship for the cameras, telling the Los Angeles morning show Good Day L.A., "It was obvious that it was staged...There were contracts already in place for E! to film it. Everything was written down."

Kim's camp told UsWeekly that the 31-year-old reality star is content with today's settlement.

"Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson. . .Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter."

Many came to criticize Kim Kardashian for her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries in the summer of 2011, but both parties maintain that there was absolutely nothing fake about their romance.
