Kim Kardashian has conquered the worlds of reality TV and fashion, but now she has her sights set on more lofty goals. Can you imagine going into a voting booth and seeing KK's name listed amongst the credible political candidates? Well, this is exactly what will be happening in 2017 if the Head Doll in Charge has her way.
Kim Kardashian told her sister Khloe Kardashian Odom about her political aspirations in an outtake from the last episode of "Khloe and Lamar." The clip is actually sort of amusing because the Khloster seems totally disinterested while Kimmie spills her latest attention-getting strategy. Kimberly explains that Glendale is "Armenian country." She's done the research and realizes that there's a residency requirement so she's buying a property there. She estimates that she'll be ready to be mayor in five years.
We wonder if this is as utterly ridiculous as it sounds. Angelina Jolie, for example, was not always the Mother Teresa-like, respected political ambassador that she is today. If Kim K. was the Mayor of Glendale, would Kanye West be willing to be her first dude?
Kim isn't the first celeb to enter politics, there have been several more before her!
President Reagan is now known as the late beacon of the Republican Party. In the beginning of his public life Reagan was known for entirely different reasons. Reagan was a Hollywood movie star famous for popular films like "Bedtime for Bonzo," "Kings Row," "The Hasty Heart" and "Desperate Journey."
Back in the days the "Sonny and Cher" variety show was an on-air party. Cher went on to shock, awe and make waves in music and film. Chaz Bono's dad took a different path becoming the Mayor of Palm Springs before his untimely passing. .
If "The Facts of Life" gang could see George now! George is the hunkiest bachelor in Hollywood. This is an undisputed fact. His recent arrest with his dad at an anti-Sudan protest shows that this is a man willing to stand up for what's right.
Sean was Madonna's own personal bad boy at one time. Now he has still been seen wielding a gun, but for noble reasons. SP earned the nickname "Shotgun Sean" when he took it on himself to help down in New Orleans post Hurricane Katrina. Sean's work in the ravaged Haiti recently won him a well-deserved humanitarian prize.
What do you think? Would you vote for Kimmie as Mayor of Glendale? Should she seek higher office?
