NEW YORK, New York -- Kim Cattrall's sexy PR mogul character Samantha Jones may be getting some new man candy in the sequel to "Sex and The City."

Sexy salt-and-pepper-haired actor Max Ryan has been brought on to play a European architect, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Max's character -- named Rikard -- will cross paths with Samantha, who ended the first big screen installment of "Sex and The City" single, 50, and as Carrie Bradshaw put it, "fabulous!"

If Samantha and Rikard do engage in a love affair, it won't be the first time Ms. Jones has tangled with an architect. She almost didn't get a job - or a boyfriend - out of hotelier Richard Wright after bedding his architect.
English-born and European-raised Max, 42, recently starred as Pachenko alongside Jason Statham and Joan Allen in 2008's "Death Race."
"Sex and The City 2" is currently filming in New York City, and is expected to open in theaters next year.
