"Do you think that you're Jack Bauer?" Fallon asked on the show Thursday.
"Absolutely not, absolutely not," he said. "I learned that really clearly the first season."
Sutherland was charged with assault earlier this month after he allegedly headbutted designer Jack McCollough at a Met Gala after-party in NYC May 5.

Fallon had seen Sutherland that night and joked that he was thankful he kept his distance.
"The last time I saw you, we went out to dinner and then ... what happens?" Fallon asked, laughing. "I just want to know, how close was I from being on the receiving end?"
Sutherland told Fallon he could rest easy.
"Not even close," the star, 42, said. "We can joke about it, I guess, but it's something I really regret having happened."

Fallon still wasn't convinced Sutherland wasn't trying to become Bauer.
"Because you didn't come up through the elevator," Fallon said. "You came through a window, a chopper came down..."
Sutherland replied: "This time, I came up the elevator."

CindyI think Kiefer Sutherland is one of the best actors to come out of Hollywood in a long time. He has a whole lot of charisma. The fact that he doesn't take any crap is even better. Sure, you can't go around hitting or head-butting people, but they haven't said what the other fella did to cause it, if anything.
