MIAMI, FL -- Khloe Kardashian may have moved to Miami for her new E! reality show "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami," but she's eagerly awaiting Tuesday's decision from the California State Supreme Court regarding Proposition 8, which currently prohibits same sex marriage.

"This is a day that hundreds of thousands of both gay and straight people have been waiting for," Khloe wrote on her official blog over the weekend. "[It's] a moment that people will always remember...a moment where gay couples are told whether they share the same civil rights as any straight couple, or a moment where they are told they have to continue fighting for their equality."

Last fall, Prop 8 passed in California, outlawing same-sex marriage in the state. Following its passage, thousands of people including celebrities such as Janice Dickinson, took to the streets in protest. Dozens of celebrities have spoken out or joined protests against the proposition, both before and after its passing, including Ellen DeGeneres, Wanda Sykes, Melissa Etheridge, Rose McGowan and Ricki Lake.

In her latest blog, Khloe said she was upset that the legality of gay marriage is still an issue in California.

"It disgusts me that this is something that has to be fought for in the first place," she wrote. "Love is love...and the people who voted for Prop 8 cast their vote for hate.

"After the decision is made on Tuesday, no matter the outcome, marriage equality advocates will rally all over the country," she added.

umm, i guess angela didnt read the part where the slaves were freed, and God made the perfect mate for a man by creating a woman. The bible does not "promote slavery and the subjugation of woman". and Mikko, read genesis. God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Ok, this is for all of you who think that we're bashing gay people: Please grow up and quit thinking that people are bashing you. Have some morals! It's just not natural!

Just because someone is against gay marriage doesn't mean that they hate gay people. I am tolerant of gay people, but I do not think that they should have the right of marriage. It's not the way that it was meant to be. Take this how ever you want, Plaay, this is not me bashing gay people. As for your comment, you need to grow up and be tolerant of other people's views.

And not only that but the Bible also promotes things like slavery and the subjugation of women. I believe in God, but i don't feel that i can call myself a Christian when i see exactly what "Christianity" has done to people throughout the centuries. And don't you dare say that i won't stand up for what i believe in. I stand up for LOVE AND PEACE in this w

oh my gosh! u know what people? i grew up in an ultra-conservative household where it was taught that homosexuality was wrong and that being gay was a ticket to hell. And then i went to college and i realized something. You know that little thing in the Constitution that goes ALL men are created equal?

People talking about how heterosexual marriage is under attack because of GAYS.. that is so silly. with almost 50% or more of heteros divorce with no help from gays. You can get married and you do instead you knock of this hot tail girls out here and you make a lot of kids for gays to pay taxes with good jobs and have to take care of your mistakes. It's sad......

I am for gay marriage. Gays and Lesbians have been around forever and they are not going anywhere. Nobody has the right to judge. If you feel it's wrong it's your opinion it's like a butthole everyone has one. It's 2 cents. California will get over it like 6 other states that recongize gay marriage.
