"50 Shades of Grey" certainly has Hollywood all hot and bothered with celebs sounding off on how they feel about the erotic novel or if they'd be interested in starring in the movie based on it. So which actor recently said that he would play Christian Grey, and which sex-loving star won't be visiting the BDSM-practicing billionaire's Red Room of Pain anytime soon? Here's a look at what celebrities have had to say about Mr. Grey:
Khloe is such a big fan of her sexy time that she claimed that she was going to turn Rob Kardashian's old bedroom into a "chamber of love," and she even had a sex swing installed in her house - which she and Lamar Odom then proceeded to break. Khloe credits her very active sex life for why she isn't a "50 Shades" fan, saying that she doesn't need the book to spice things up in the bedroom.
According to Celebuzz, Khloe gushed that she doesn't need Fifty because of her "phenomenal sex life," saying this about the book: "I'm not dying to read written porn. I would rather watch porn - than read a different version of porn. But, I don't know what it's about." It's such a shame that she won't check out the erotic novel - it's not hard to imagine Khloe adopting the phrase "kinky f**kery." And Kris Jenner is missing out on a real opportunity to cash in by not having her daughters read the book - they could discuss it on an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" before testing a pair of nipple clamps.
There is one member of the Kardashian clan who has gotten in touch with her "inner goddess." Here's what Khloe said about the Fifty fan: "I haven't read it. I know my grandmother, which is kind of embarrassing - she has read the book, like in less than 24 hours, and she loves it."
Victoria has a similarly awkward problem, but unlike Khloe, she is a big Christian fan. You might think that a woman married to a guy who looks like David Beckham wouldn't feel the need to fantasize about a fictional character, but Posh Spice thinks that Fifty is very nice. Here's what she said about the naughty novel: "I'm halfway through the second one... I even bought my mum the book! Every time she tries to engage in conversation about it, I kind of dodge the subject. I don't really want to talk to my mum about S&M!" Sounds like Victoria's mom needs to give Khloe's grandmother a call so that they can discuss chocolate hot fudge brownie sex.
And in "50 Shades of Grey" movie casting news, this tasty telenovela star who sashayed his way into women's hearts on "Dancing with Stars" says that at first he was a bit disturbed when female fans begged him to pursue the role of kinky Christian. However, he quickly warmed to the idea. Here's what he said about it: "You know if the opportunity comes for me to play this role I would play it. I would love to do it."
Unfortunately Emma probably wouldn't play his Anastasia Steele. She recently denied that she's up for the role by telling Entertainment Weekly, "I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing." She probably felt the need to respond to reports that she had been approached for the movie because her family members kept asking if the rumors were true and because "Harry Potter" fans were probably freaking out over the thought of Hermione in handcuffs.
The Olsen twins' sister also denied that she wants to play Ana with this emphatic exclamation: "No! No! No!" Those definitely are not the words you want to hear when you're talking about sex - Ana needs to be saying the exact opposite. Elizabeth agrees with Khloe that women should just be watching porn instead of reading "50 Shades," but she also said of the novel's popularity, "Apparently rope sales have skyrocketed because women who've read the book are really getting into bondage, which is kind of great."
So what do you think - would Lucy and William Levy make the perfect Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey?
