Congratulations are in order — again — for Olympic volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings.

The three-time gold medalist, who most recently competed in the London games this summer, appeared on the Today show Monday with her husband Casey to share some unexpected news.

"When I was throwing my body around fearlessly and going for gold for our country, I was pregnant," Jennings said. "Today I'm 11 weeks pregnant and feeling ... pregnant."

Olympics: Did Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings three-peat?

Jennings said she had more than an inkling that she was expecting during the Olympics, but decided to compete anyway.

"I'm like clockwork, and I'm a pretty happy girl, and I was unreasonably moody," she told Matt Lauer. "I thought it could have been the stress of the games, and travel kind of throws your schedule off a little bit, but ... no, I knew."

The couple already have two sons, and Casey said they have a strong feeling this one is a little girl.

All the best to the growing family!
