LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Kelsey Grammer's mother, Sally Cranmer Grammer, has passed away, Access Hollywood has learned.
The actor's mother died peacefully on July 7 at her Sherwood Country Club home in Westlake, California, according to a statement released to Access.

She was 80 years old.
"I was proud to be the son of Sally Grammer. I will miss her laughter," Kelsey said in the statement.

Unfortunately, Sally Grammer was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Grammer, and her husband Frank Allen Grammer, Jr.. Despite her family tragedies, she was said to live her life with "grace and laughter."
Kelsey inherited the acting bug from his mother who was also and actress and a dancer, performing under the name Sally Sullivan.
