LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Ozzy Osbourne has only had his driver's license for a week, but daughter Kelly said it's already made the Prince of Darkness feel free as a bird.

"It's so cute. He's like Mr. Independent now," Kelly told Access Hollywood backstage at "Dancing With the Stars" on Tuesday. "I love it!"

Ozzy announced the news last week on his Twitter, writing, "I just passed my driving test. Took me 60 yrs but I did it! For the 1st time in my life I'm legal to drive, so watch out!"

And Kelly revealed her dad, who is 61, has a fancy car to go with his new legal license status.

"He was so happy, he bought himself a Range Rover," she said.

But while she's proud of her papa, she hasn't hit the highway with him quite yet.

"Actually, I've never been on the freeway with him, don't know if I want to, to be honest," she said.

She will, however, ride with her dad on food runs.

"He takes me to the movies or to pick up food at his favorite chicken place," she said. "He just like going for a drive to clear his head and it's great."
