"Ok, so I did it," the "Milkshake" singer wrote about her son, born Wednesday in New York City. "He's 7.8 pounds of the greatest stuff on earth.
"I was in labor for 3 of the longest, most painful days of my life," she continued. "I don't understand when women say they don't remember giving birth. I will remember for the rest of my life."

Despite the difficult delivery, Kelis calls Knight "kinda perfect btw."
On Wednesday, a rep for the singer told Us of her first child, "The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful."

Kelis went into labor at 2 a.m. on Monday, and delivered in a New York City hospital with her mother and sister in the room.
Yesterday, a judge awarded Kelis nearly $44,000 in monthly support from her ex, Nas, with whom she split in April while she was seven months pregnant.
