Keira Knightly has come a long way from her "Pirates of the Caribbean" days. The 27-year-old English star recently revealed that doing nude scenes doesn't bother her, as long as she maintains a little control. "Sex scenes in films - I'm quite rigorous about what gets exposed," she said in an interview. "No bottom half! I don't mind exposing my t**s because they're so small. People really aren't that interested." Clearly, the Oscar-nominated beauty has left her Disney days behind her. Surprisingly, the incredibly busy actress has been open about a number of things in her personal life. Here are a few other subjects that Keira has freely discussed in public.
When it comes to religion, the majority of celebrities tend to keep things private. Of course, there are always exceptions, and Keira's admission to having no religion fits that category. In a recent interview with famed director David Cronenberg, the actress alluded to her religious beliefs in a fairly candid manner. "If only I wasn't an atheist, I could get away with anything," said the star while discussing a drawback of her philosophy. "You'd just ask for forgiveness and then you'd be forgiven. It sounds much better than having to live with guilt."
Ever since she rose to fame, the star has been linked to the eating disorder anorexia. The actress, who has a family history involving the eating disorder, has constantly denied ever having suffered from it. Things went a little too far several years ago after Keira sued a British tabloid over claims that she lied about not having the disease. Even to this day, she still discusses the impact that the rumors had on her. "The anorexic stuff, all of that, it's always going to have an impact, so I think it did hit pretty hard," she said in her recent interview.
The subject of marriage
Despite appearing in several movies ever year, the actress has somehow managed to have a private life. In fact, Keira has dated musician James Righton since early 2011, and the two are currently enjoying their engagement. However, don't expect to see wedding photos any time soon, if at all. "Maybe I'll be permanently engaged," said the actress. Obviously, walking down the aisle isn't really a priority for her right now. Of course, you can never rule out any secret celebrity wedding.
