Katy Perry and John Mayer's summer romance is already over, and there's one crazy claim that her BFF Rihanna might have something to do with the split.
Katy is reportedly very upset that John dumped her, and she might be even more distraught if an Enquirer story is true - shortly before Katy and John split up, the tabloid reported that Mayer was only using Katy to get closer to Ri-Ri. Perhaps John ended things when he realized that his sinister plan had been discovered.
Whether this claim is true or not, Katy should have no problem finding a rebound. Here's a look at a few options she might consider:
How has this lothario not conquered Katy's heart yet? Mayer might seem like Hollywood's biggest womanizer after being linked to the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. However, Wilmer could have him beat with a long list of famous flings that include Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Demi Lovato, and Ashlee Simpson. So if Katy likes Casanovas, then perhaps she needs to pursue this pop star panty-dropper.
Rob and Katy are reportedly good pals, so perhaps they should consider trying to recover from their relationship woes together. After dating Kristen Stewart, Rob could probably use a little color and fun in his life. And what better way to get it than with Katy's cutesy, candy-colored costumes?
Katy's marriage to Russell Brand and her relationship with Mayer proves that she has a thing for pasty wannabe pirates, so perhaps she should pursue the sexiest swashbuckler by going after Captain Jack.
And if she can't score a date with one of the actors above, "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe has confessed to having a crush on Katy. He's got the pale skin and the British accent that Katy obviously adores, so now he just needs to grow his hair out and trade his wizarding robe for hipster hats and skinny jeans.

Some shocking options would be Kid Rock, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker (who was once linked to her BFF Rihanna), 50 Cent, Eminem, and Pete Wentz. Or she could let Marilyn Manson turn her into a Dita Von Teese clone.
