Katie Holmes Moved Into New NYC Apartment Building Just Last Week
HollywoodLife.com went to Katie’s new apartment in the NYC neighborhood of Chelsea and a neighbor tells us that she just moved into the luxury building with her six-year-old daughter Suri.
Katie Holmes moved out of the apartment she shared with Tom Cruise and now HollywoodLife.com has the exact time frame. If you thought Katie had been living in her own place for months, you’re wrong!
“Katie just moved into the building last week,” a source tells us. “She’s here all the time with Suri and they keep to themselves. They both look happy.”
The building is primarily full of longtime owners, not renters and it’s a loft-style building.
Katie filed for divorce on June 28 while Tom is shooting his new movie Oblivion in Iceland. Tom reportedly was blindsided and he released a statement saying he was “deeply saddened.”
New reports claim that Katie filed for divorce because she didn’t want Suri growing up in the Church of Scientology.
