It’s been only a few weeks since Katie Holmes divorced Tom Cruise, but she’s not letting any more time pass before returning to work. Katie is headed back to Broadway!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, it was announced Thursday, July 19 that Katie had signed on to appear in Theresa Rebeck‘s new play, Dead Accounts. This marks the first time Katie has returned to Broadway since 2008′s All My Sons. The new play is set to open in the fall at the Music Box Theatre.
Since her split from Tom, Katie, 33, has also filmed an episode of Project Runway: All Stars and is reported to be working on the indie film Molly, which she also co-wrote and produced.
