Although Cruise was in Los Angeles at the Valkyrie premiere, he was still there in spirit.
He tells Usmagazine.com that he arranged that Holmes be presented with a specially-made birthday cake as the curtain fell.

"I set up whole thing," he told Us at the Valkyrie premiere. "The cast came out with a huge cake. The audience sang 'Happy Birthday' to her. It was really nice. You know, I plan it out. I think ahead."

He added that they also "celebrated" Wednesday night before he left for L.A.
"And I've had a lot of surprises for her throughout the day," he added.

BrazilI wonder, if Katie read any of this garbage, how she would feel being depicted as a victim of someone else. I personally believe she is a strong, self-directed young woman who is doing exactly what she wants to do, making her own choices. She has a fabulous life, career, and family.
