Jon and Kate Gosselin might be a top Halloween costume trend this year, but Katie Couric is going to dress up as a lesser-known Gosselin.

"I met Kate and she seems very nice, and I told her I was gonna be Aaden," the CBS Evening News anchor, 52, tells Extra of opting to dress as one of the 5-year-old sextuplets. "She said, 'You have to make sure you wear the glasses at the end of your nose.'"

The mother of eight, 34, admitted on Monday's TLC special that she "laughed my head off" when she learned of the Halloween wigs inspired by her famous hairstyle that have gone on sale nationwide.

"They don't call it the Kate wig because then they would have to give me proceeds, which I find very interesting," she said of the "Eight Is Too Much" wigs on the pretaped You Ask, Kate Answers segment.

She even told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview that aired Wednesday that the Halloween wigs made her rethink her look.

"Somebody emailed that to me a bit ago saying there was going to be a Kate Gosselin wig," she said, "and I thought, 'Wow, is that really what my hair looks like?'"

    Katie is not my favorite & even less now. Why use Aaden? That's not funny or cute. He is a child & she should, I think, have a greater regard for children that to use one as a costume.

    For Katie Couric to have a "boyfriend" who's young enough to be her son is pathetic enough, but to further expoit a minor is unacceptable. Everyone knows she is not a natural blonde, but she gives good cause to the ditzy reputation.
