Kathy Griffin Previews Her New Talk Show!
Kathy Griffin has basically been banned from appearing on every late night talk show, so the Lenos of the world better watch out now that Kathy is invading their timeslot with her new, eponymous Bravo talk show!
Launching April 19 at 10 p.m., Kathy promises to be a rule-breaking, anything goes outing -- just like the comedian!
"It's the next step in the evolution of my standup," Kathy tells Insider.com. "It's a natural progression. It's very improvisational, it's irreverent and since I've been banned from most talk shows, this is a way for me to continue the dialogue with my fans. It's what I think my fans want – they don't want the homogenized me, they want unfiltered me."

As for exactly what form Kathy will take, the comedian-turned-hostess is still a little unsure of exactly how to define her show. "There's elements of The Graham Norton Show, in that it's very chatty, and I think the conversation will take off and have an energy you can't have in a serious one-on-one interview. There will be a monologue and filmed pieces, so first and foremost, we'll be bringing the comedy."

And while the show will skewer celebrities with reckless abandon, there will be no famous guests. "In some ways, it's like the celebrities are already my guests because if you show a picture of Angelina Jolie's Right Leg or any Duggar at any time, I'm set! The panelists are people from my real life that can speak freely and say the things you can't say. Hollywood should be afraid. Washington should be afraid. The Kardashians should be afraid."
Oh, I'm sure they are Kathy, I'm sure they are.
