OXFORD, Ohio -- Being a new dad is music to Josh Kelley's ears.

Katherine Heigl's rocker husband took the stage on Friday night in Oxford, Ohio, to beam over the couple's new addition to their family - 10-month-old daughter Nancy Leigh.

"We adopted a baby from Korea, me and my girl, and she's awesome, dude! This girl is the bomb!" Kelley beamed to the crowd at Miami University in Ohio, according to People.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Heigl and Kelley completed the adoption process for Nancy Leigh - who they call Naleigh - on September 17.

However, it didn't take dad long to celebrate his baby girl in his music. During the concert, he introduced a new song about Naleigh, which included the words, "Just to see you in mommy's arms is all I need."

The proud new parents posted photos of their daughter on the Web site for The Jason Heigl Foundation, named after the "Grey's Anatomy" star's brother, who died in 1986.

Naleigh is the first child for the couple, who wed in 2007. And while being a first-time parent is sure to present some challenges, Kelley said he loves every minute of it - even the messy stuff.

"It's like I have Gerber all over my knee," Kelley reportedly told the audience. "And it doesn't even matter, I love it."

People need to stop knocking their choice. Yes, there are children here that need homes, but alot of countries are more in need and cannot provide proper care the way are government can. The countries most popular for adoption are the ones most in need. And, do your research, she has a sister adopted from Korea. Maybe you should look things up before bashing such a wonderful act.

Funny that Scott calls her an attention whore though they kept the whole thing private until a week ago and whoever wrote the article needs to check the names - Naleigh not Nancy. And, finally - coming from someone who is adopted, Much love goes to her and her husband. Taking in a child that is not your birth child is a respectable act. Who cares where they came from, it takes a lot of heart.

I agree, I wish that more people would adopt American kids, BUT, I know the RED TAPE is so much worse here. I know someone who finally went to China after yrs of trying her. Kate Heigel's Sister was adopted from S. Korea, so this may be the reason she went there.
