    Kate Upton Is "Too Obvious" and "Too Blonde" to Be in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show

    Kate Upton may be the swimsuit model of the moment, but based off of what the Victoria's Secret's casting director for its annual runway show has said, she won't be getting her wings anytime soon.

    "'We would never use' Ms. Upton for a Victoria's Secret show," Sophia Neophitou told The New York Times last week in an article posted on Monday, adding that the choice would be "too obvious."

    While Upton's admirers and fans may beg to differ (the 19-year-old has modeled for the lingerie retailer before), Neophitou details why the 5-foot-10 beauty wouldn't be able to hang with Victoria's Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel during the nationally televised event.

    "She's like a Page 3 girl," Neophitou continued, referencing the spread of scantily clad women that runs in the British newspaper The Sun. "She's like a footballer's wife, with the too-blond hair and that kind of face that anyone with enough money can go out and buy."

      Looking at some of her pictures, she has ugly legs and has a very straight body. Not much of a waist line. I can see why she could never make it as a VS model. She has an average face, nothing really great about it.

        hmmm.... there are NFL players coming out of her apartment in NY... and that is not hoochie? Thats a reputation Upton put on herself already my dear.... she made a bad choice. First you try to get career in prestige Magazine and try to be as much desirable and mysterious and hard to get, when you TEASE the men enough, then you start landing NFL players.... You got to do it in order....

      Nothing dynamic here. Breasts look sloppy and bikini bottom does no favours. Especially when compared to the athletes in the magazine who are body painted. Now that's amazing!

      Okay, this girl clearly rubbed her the wrong way...I don't like the mag cover because it does make her look like just another skinny, blonde, fame seeking chick who sheds her clothes and smiles for the camera but in person she looks like a typical, fresh faced teenager. I mean she's still skinny and blonde and fame seeking but less annoying in person. Not a fan of the severely blonde hair though.

      What is to obvious and blonde? Look at the Victoria Secret models they all look obvious and mostly blondeMs Neophetou is either upset about something or pissed off at this girl. I am curious what Neiphetou looks like herself before passing judgement on others.

        No.... Upton is already hanging with NFL players... you don't start your carreer with that, but you finish your career with that. Guys wants in the magazine a girl, who is kinda mysterious and they trying to get her.... if they know many NFL players HAD IT already... nothing really interesting that much.. just like another PRODUCT EASY TO GET....Look at Giselle..... She managed perfectly...she did the things in order. Upton is doing it the opposite way..... I totally agree with Ms. Neph.
