But, we might finally have confirmation on her actual due date, thanks to the U.K. Daily Mail.
"Some of William's closest pals were at a barbecue hosted by a family friend of the Royals recently," a source told the newspaper on Sunday. "They were all discussing the fact that Kate's baby is due to be born on July 13."
That's only eight weeks away. We better start shopping for our gifts now!
According to the source, Middleton is expected to deliver in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, which is the same hospital where Princess Diana gave birth to Prince William in 1982. Gynecologists Alan Farthing and Marcus Setchell are reportedly bestowed with the honor of delivering the royal baby, according to the source.
The only problem? The due date lands right in the middle of the Coronation Festival, a four-date event that will celebrate Queen Elizabeths' 60 years of rule. The festival is scheduled to run from July 11-14.
Awkward, but we're sure it's not that big of a deal. Plus, babies don't always come on their due date, either, The royal baby could come before or after.
Royal officials won't comment on the due date, other than that she's expecting to give birth in July.
Is She Having a Boy or a Girl?
Now we know when to expect the baby, but what we really want to know what she's having.
It's been rumored that she's preparing for a girl - some enterprising royal watchers even came up with a possible name for the baby girl. But, now the rumors have shifted to the boy side of the gender scale, thanks to a rumored slip by Prince Harry.
"Apparently Kate has always wanted a boy," a source told the U.K. Daily Mirror earlier this month. "The close inner circle all know that it's a boy and they're busily buying gifts with a boy theme."
Middleton also reportedly bought a blue pram last month, adding to the speculation that she's having a boy.
What Will Middleton Wear to the Hospital?
The Duchess of Cambridge is known for recycling her outfits, so it wasn't exactly a surprise when she opted to wear a polka-dotted Topshop dress to a friend's nuptials over the weekend.
According to US Weekly, the 31-year-old royal first wore her black and white dress with a Ralph Lauren blazer and Episode "Angel" pumps during a movie studio tour in April. She opted for the same look, simply adding a fascinator, for the May 11 wedding of pals William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keen at the Ewelme Parish Church.
We hope she doesn't recycle her delivery outfits, though. The new mom definitely deserves to walk out of the hospital with her new child dressed in a designer outfit.
Maybe her favorite designers Erdem or Sarah Burton can design a special frock for that big day?
We already know Burton is up for the job. She told the U.K. Daily Telegraph that she'd be honored to design maternity clothes for her royal pal.
"I hope I will be [asked]," she said in December.
Tell us: Do you think Kate Middleton is really due on July 13, or are they just trying to throw us off?
