Surprise, surprise: all is not well with the the eight Gosselin children. Says who? Kate Gosselin, who admits to Vanity Fair that her kids have been "acting out" in the wake of her nasty impending divorce, the shutdown of their reality TV behemoth, and continuing legal battles.

"I'm trying to give them the grace to see, if they're acting out of line, I'm trying to look deeper into why that is," Gosselin, 34, tells Vanity Fair. "[The kids] don't see it, but it's all interconnected," she says of their misbehaving.

Of Jon his future ex-wife says the kids "Miss him. They say they miss him. I imagine they say the same thing when I'm away."

In the extended interview, Gosselin, 34, also talks excitedly about guest-hosting The View and her potential future in television. "It comes to me very easily when I'm doing TV . . . I laugh that people are like, 'Oh, that must be so hard.' To me it's so very easy!"

Not that Barbara Walters et al weren't initially intimidating. "I felt like I was walking in on their turf," she says. "It took about 39 seconds for them to see I'm not there to take over or anything. I definitely bonded with Sherri [Shepherd]. She has gone through a divorce and she took me under her wing. Barbara was wonderful!"

"It was a huge honor," she continues. "I don't feel really worthy, but if they're asking me, hey man, I'm doin' it!"

OMG, does she actually think Barbara Walters was worried about her taking over? Get the hell over yourself, you are self-centered and stupid. The more you open your mouth the more like trailor trash you sound. Who are you trying to convince that you should be on TV or God forbid, movies? Yourself or the public. I wouldn't walk across the street to see you if you were hanging upside down.

The only ones I feel sorry for are the kids, they did nothing wrong and their the ones that are being punished. The fault of the divorce does not and should not be laid on just one parent, it takes 2 to tango, as some are blaming it all on Kate or blaming it all on Jon. I just hope that they both think more of the kids than themselves, and stop the stupid stuff of you said this, no you did.

Some one has to work ..of the two.. Congrats to Kate for being that some one and being financially responsable. I can see why she had to be the one to take charge over Jon he is so immature I feel for her. Love The View!! Good Job Kate for getting that extra income. I relate to being Bipolar.

I guess I missed something. Jon was raising the children & Kate was out in the media. Jon didn't like the whole situation & can't even take out his salary but Kate can hide $100,00 & nothing is said. Kate is never with the kids unless it is a photo op - go figure. She is now on "the View" - boy those girls have NOTHING to worry about fr

LIKE A MAN NOT LIKE A DIRTY RAG. I DO FEEL SORRY FOR THE KIDS THERE SO CUTE.... JON WOULD ALWAYS LET THEM EAT AND DO WHAT THEY WANT. BUT HER OMG!!!! EVERTHING HE WOULD WANT TO DO WITH THE KIDS

Yah! its ok that Kate gets on other shows to talk, but not Jon. TLC needs a reality check. they both have screwed up the contrat. I myself am very happy if the show stops. Everyone goes through tough times in a divorce. SHAME ON BOTH. I feel bad for the children

All kids act out when their parents are going through a divorce especially if one of the parents is trying to force someone new on them. Jon did bring HG to their hometown and if given the chance he would already have introduced her to his the kids. Jon does not care how his actions are affecting his children all he cares about is how much money he canmake off of them.

Maybe TLC allows Kate to do interviews because she doesn't bad mouth them like Jon has done...And I also missed the part where Kate revealed having a bipolar disorder. Kate wasn't the nicest person at times, but come on she is what kept people coming back to watch the show every week, watching her run the house and take care of the kids and Jon was entertaining for the viewers.
