Kate Bosworth and True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard raised eyebrows at Spike TV's Scream Awards Saturday in Los Angeles.

Backstage, they were "very affectionate, holding hands as Alexander played with Kate's hair while they chatted with friends in the green room," RadarOnline reports. "Kate and Alexander hugged a few times and were often spotted whispering to each other." She even "playfully slapped him on his butt a few times," according to the site.

After the event, Skarsgard, 33, and Bosworth, 26, hit Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
The two are set to star together in the remake of Sam Peckinpah's classic thriller Straw Dogs.

If he is, he's not as dumb as he seems, although dating ERW makes you doubt it, because Kate has a habit of dating her co-stars but she's been on/off with her boyfriend of 3 years.
