  I haven't watched DWTS since their first season, they really haven't gotten anyone on it that impressive or they're people we've never heard of unless we're really into the olympics and indy car racing, etc.

  Even if Keanu wasn't an A-list star, he isn't eligible to do the show. He already knows how to ball room dance and is apparently very good at it. If Karina wants to dance with him, it will have to be in private.
