Los Angeles City Attorney's spokesman Nick Velasquez told the Associated Press West entered the plea through his attorney, Blair Berk, on Friday. The singer, 31, was not in court.

City prosecutors charged West with misdemeanor battery, grand theft and vandalism after he was arrested Sept. 11 for breaking a paparazzo's camera flash at Los Angeles International Airport.
Berk did not comment to the AP.
The next hearing is July 15.
