According to "The Big Bang Theory" actress, Sweeting wasn't acting very sweet right before he popped the question. "[Ryan] actually started a little fight with me and threw me off," she told "Entertainment Tonight." "I was like, 'Oh my God, things aren't great.' He surprised me at the end of the night … [when] he popped the ring out. It was amazing."
Making a girl upset with you right before asking her to spend the rest of her life with you might seem like a crazy move after only three months of dating, but it's not the wackiest way that a star has ever been proposed to. Here's a look at few other crazy celeb proposals:
Last December, DJ Deadmau5 tweeted a very special message for tattoo artist Kat Von D. "I can't wait for Christmas so.... Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?" the musician wrote. He even included an image of a black diamond engagement ring. Kat said yes and told her fans that she was going to get off Twitter to go squeeze her fiancé. Fast forward to a few months later, and she was back on the social media site to announce her split from the DJ. "Cheating on your loved one is the most hurtful thing one could do," she tweeted. "I hate to admit that this relationship is indeed over...Onwards and upwards." It's hard to believe that Kat and Deadmau5 couldn't work things out since their monikers work so well together.
According to this "Basketball Wives" star, NFL player Chad Ochocinco proposed to her in an extremely unromantic manner -- he did it while he was playing "Call of Duty." Ochocinco had a jeweler at the house and was letting Lozado pick out a ring while he played his video game. "He was like, 'Which one do you like?'" Evelyn told Yahoo! Music's The Aftermath. "I'm like, 'I don't know. This one.' It was in a separate box. I picked that one. Put it on. He goes, 'Alright, so we're engaged.'" Unfortunately, this unconventional proposal also didn't work out so well -- Evelyn filed for divorce after just 41 days of marriage and an ugly head-butting incident.
This "Jersey Shore" star got one of the craziest celebrity proposals ever in 2010. Her rumored boyfriend, Jeff Miranda, got on one knee and posed shirtless for the cover of Steppin' Out magazine. The caption on the magazine's cover read, "Jeff Miranda has a question for Snooki: Will you marry me?" Snooks promptly rejected the proposal and let her fans know that she was single. The reality show star announced that she was engaged to a different guy two years later, and she got more than a ring from fiancé Jionni LaValle -- she also announced that she was pregnant with a little meatball.
So since none of these unconventional proposals ended well, do you think that Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting's relationship is destined to suffer the same fate?More From This Contributor: Kim Kardashian's 'Nori' Necklace: Is She Trying to Be Like Beyonce?
