LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Justin Timberlake has built his star status in the music world, but the singer is also proving to be a force in the TV world as well.
After all, Justin picked up an Emmy at last week's Creative Arts Emmys for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his appearance on "Saturday Night Live," as well as two nominations for Best Original Music in Sunday night's awards for his "Motherlover" skit on "Saturday Night Live" and his "I Love Sports" number as host of the ESPY Awards.

But when it comes to his outrageous "SNL" skits with Andy Samberg, Justin is happy to accept the credit - and deflect any criticism to his comedic counterpart.
"You and Andy get away with so much," Ryan Seacrest told Justin during E!'s Emmy red carpet show on Sunday. "It's got you multiple nominations, but you really like to push it don't you on 'Saturday Night Live?'"

"I'm going to say - it's all Andy's fault," Justin joked.
But would the singing superstar ever consider a full-time jump to comedy?
"I don't know. I could definitely see doing it for maybe half of a season," Justin told Ryan. "But I might get antsy. You know, I like to do a lot of different things."

And one of those things Justin is currently spending time on is working with Rihanna on her new album in the studio - a project which Justin sees nothing but success for ahead.
"In my opinion, she's got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record," he said of the "Disturbia" singer. "The stuff we've come up with in the studio, it's the next step for her. It's a little more grown up. It's got some edge to it."
After he's done working with other artists, does Justin see himself heading out on tour again anytime soon?
"I've been on tour. I'm on tour right now! I'm playing garages across the country," he laughed.
"I haven't really thought about it that much," he admitted to Seacrest. "I'm having so much fun in the studio and doing things like 'SNL.' But I'm getting the itch. I'm getting the itch."
