The singer is apparently a perfect fit for the Adidas NEO Label after signing a lucrative two year deal to serve as pitchman for the brand. For his role, the teen star with serve as "Global Style Icon" for the youthful clothing line for which he will make public appearances, appear in ad campaigns and harness his social media reach to pitch their products.
With his latest venture, the youngster joins a group of guys signing on to pitch products. Here are some of our favorite pitchmen of the season:
Brad Pitt: The swoon worthy actor made his debut as the first male spokesperson for the Chanel No. 5 perfume line earlier this week. For the initial ad, the actor shows off his softer side by seductively reciting a romantic poem to an unknown woman. "It's not a journey," reads Pitt. "Every journey ends, but we go on. The world turns and we turn with it. Plans disappear. Dreams take over. But wherever I go, there you are. My luck, my fate, my fortune. Chanel No. 5. Inevitable." While the ad is a bit of a snooze-fest, the star sure does look yummy!
Jeff Goldblum: This one is a bit of a head scratcher. The actor has signed on to star in a series of online advertisements for payment processor PayPal. The ads are designed to feature the service's convenience and security for online consumers over a certain age. Rather than appeal to young customers, he promotes the service to older shoppers who may be leery of exposing their financial information online saying, "I'm paranoid, just kidding, but really, I'm kinda paranoid."
Justin Timberlake: The singer and actor is trying to make Myspace sexy again. JT has teamed up with the site not only as face of a new campaign, but as a part of the group of investors who have stepped in to redesign the site to help make it popular with musicians again.
