Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks pulled together for the dramatic, political comedy "Charlie Wilson's War." While both Roberts and Hanks played their characters well, I couldn't help thinking the whole time that Tom Hanks seemed oddly out of place when onscreen with Roberts. "Duplicity" brought Clive Owen and Julia Roberts together as co-conspirators on a corporate shake down. The plot of "Duplicity" was filled in via flashbacks, which made it difficult for me to enjoy, but Owen and Roberts worked well enough together in the film.
Clive Owen isn't one of Julia Roberts' leading men that I would like to see her paired up with again. I'd like to see her onscreen again with Richard Gere, Hugh Grant, or George Clooney. I think with either of these leading men and Julia Roberts any movie would be great.
