LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Jude Law has a fourth child on the way this fall, the "Sherlock Holmes" star confirmed in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.
"Jude Law can confirm that, following a relationship last year, he has been advised that he is to be the father of a child due in the fall of this year," a rep for the actor stated to the mag. "Mr. Law is no longer in a relationship with the individual concerned but he intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life. This is an entirely private matter and no other statements will be made."

The star has three children with ex-wife, British actress and designer Sadie Frost.
In 2008, Jude was linked to Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly Stewart and 20-year-old model Lily Cole.

In recent weeks, one tabloid report said the single star was competing with Leonardo DiCaprio for the affections of Cameron Diaz.
Jude will appear next in December's "Sherlock Holmes" as Dr. Watson alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the title role.
