  It's simple: If a man has 9 people he's responsible to support/college ahead for 8...does he buy his first girlfreind a 75,000 car unless he's sure he has someone laying golden eggs for him to spend. Kate nuts up over a coupon because she's responsible. Jon's a child idiot. Hollywoods Million of Shakes with Jon's name on it needs to be Salt Peter.

  What does Jon do to support his family other then this TV series which he had been a major part in? If not for this income, he could never support them, set up college funds for them nor drive the car he has... all from proceeds and gifts of this show. We only know what we see on the TV but not one of us actually knows what goes on during shooting etc. Never heard complaints from the crew..

  They got what they deserved, Who in their right mind would broadcast themselves and their life with 8 kids on tv. But us here in america watch this BS. ITs completely rediculous! They brought on their own destruction of their lives by doing this show and anyone could see the writing on the wall. I have NO PITY for them!   Oh this whole stupid family needs to go stick their heads in the sand and SHUT UP. They both made more moneyt than either of them will ever be worth!!! I hope they both go broke my self. Any one that exploits themselves like that on national TV and their kids should be strung up for child abuse!!! So please, spare us all the stupidy of these two idiot people.

  I think TLC has too much influence over this family. They do not want to lose the revenue from the show. I think they found out that Jon was going to pull the plug on the show, then they changed the name so it would look like Jon was pulling the plug because he was off the show. TLC has a lot of money and power and this show has generated a lot of revenue they do not want to lose.

  Nobody knows for sure if Jon did take the $230,00, or the lesser amount. I think Kate and TLC have a vested interest in making Jon look really bad because they want the show to continue, and he does not. What I do know is Kate can NOT stay away from the media. The show can not go on, so she needs to run to the media and try to get the sympathy vote- she and TLC are hoping to make Jon look bad.
