  There are pros and cons to both sides in this sad situation. Clearly she stripped the manly sole from Jon but his weak response was to turn to someone else in an effort to restore the macho. Perhaps he should have stood up to Kate years earlier to let her know he was, at the least, her equal. I wish they could work things out but without substantial counseling, it won't happen.
