John Mayer Opens Up About Jennifer Aniston

NEW YORK, NY -- After over a month of speculation, Jennifer Aniston finally confirmed she and John Mayer are dating again during a visit to "The Oprah Winfrey Show," earlier this week. And last night, the couple stepped out in public, hitting Gold Bar in New York City.

Before that though, the "Gravity" singer supported his pal Alicia Keys, who was hosting her fifth annual Black Ball AIDS benefit at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom. On the red carpet, Access Hollywood found out that girlfriend Jennifer wasn't far from his thoughts. In fact, John said he had a few things to correct about Jennifer's visit to "Oprah."

"Let me just tell you that Jen is a huge liar and we are having twins," the deadpanned musician told Access tongue-in-cheek.

Jen denied any pregnancy on "Oprah," a rumor started by the tabloids media.

"Jen, are you pregnant or what?" Oprah asked during a taped sit down Wednesday, which aired the following day.

"No," Jennifer replied.

John's joking aside, he told People last night that he is thrilled to have the former "Friends" star in his court.

"It's really nice to have somebody in life have your back," he said. "That girl knows me... So, whether I go to bed alone or not, to have somebody who knows you in this world, that's a really nice thing."

In related news, John also addressed rumors he is gearing up to host his own show on television.

"There are rumors," he told the mag. "I'm going to keep them rumors for the time being. I want everything to be as baked as possible before it comes out of the oven."

But though some reports have suggested Mayer plans to host a variety style talent show, John seemed to hint a future television endeavor for him, may take another path.

"It would be nice to go back to a form of entertainment that doesn't involve judging and criticizing. I'd like to entertain people with their phones down," he said. "It's time to watch TV and be entertained by great artists without having to have a say in it."

    Poor Jen, Mayer will dump her again, For sure, you can see that in his eye Mayer, NOT the same look with Brad when they are together. Angie is great person and so sweet and have a good heart . Brad is so lucky to have her Angie. They are so perfect a couple. Jen was not right when talk about Angie. She did not talk about Brad because Jen worry to make Brad' s Mom upset. Bad GIRL Jen. M

    i agree with Jen. and i can't understand why anyone could possible like Angelina and Brad Pitt together. i'm glad they're happy and their life is wonderful, but they don't need to rub Jennifers nose in it and brag that they cheated. it's wrong.

    She needs to let it go and move on and stop bringing up her break-up with Brad as a way to get attention in the media. Angelina and Brad are happy with their children and their new twins, give them some peace for a change. Shame on Jennifer Aniston bringing up this old lost love again after so long. Can't she get attention in the Media any other way?

    Well, first of all, I happen to think John Mayer is a very attractive man, made more so by his soulful msic and the WAY beyond his years maturity of his lyrics. I can't understand why you would talk about a woman as if she is a brood mare.
