Alexandra Kerry, the daughter of Massachusetts Senator John Kerry, was arrested around 12:40 am in Hollywood, TMZ reports. Her charge: DUI.

Kerry, 36, was pulled over for a traffic violation; after she failed a field sobriety test and behaved in an intoxicated manner, police on the scene asked her to take an alcohol screening test.
The film director-producer initially refused and was taken to the LAPD's Hollywood station -- where a formal blood alcohol test registered a level of .06.

Although California's legal lilmit is .08, Kerry could still face prosecution for unsafely operating a vehicle.
Kerry was released from the station at 5:25 a.m.
