Joe Simpson reveals new makeover amid rumors he has a 20-year-old boyfriend
Is Joe Simpson trying to look younger now that he’s back on the market?
The father of Jessica and Ashlee Simpson has been sporting a different look since announcing his split from his wife off 34 years, Tina, last week. On Monday, Joe stepped out in Los Angeles wearing a tight v-neck sweater, silver necklace, slim-fit pants, and a fedora, which was covering up his brand new haircut and highlight dye job.
Perhaps the former minister is trying to look younger than his 54 years for his reported new love: 20-year-old aspiring actor and model, Bryce Chandler Hill. Just days before the Simpson’s joint divorce statement, the National Enquirer published a story claiming that Joe had revealed to his family two months earlier that he was gay. Although Joe and Tina insisted “there is no third party involved” and “any other related allegations are completely false,” reports are to the contrary.
According to Radar Online, which is owned by the same company as the Enquirer, Tina pulled the plug on her marriage after she confronted her husband about “modeling “photos she found of Hill, which were taken in the family home when she was not there. Soon after, Joe allegedly came clean that he and the young man had been in a year-long relationship. Radar also reports Tina recently discovered, with the help of her and Joe’s business manager, that her husband had been lavishing Hill with thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing, high-end hotels, and concert tickets in both New York City and Los Angeles – using money from their joint bank account!
“She was livid,” a source tells the site. "But Joe wasn’t finished. He later withdrew $1.5 million from that account after confessing his sins and claimed it was for investments. Tina’s not sure what to believe anymore."
But although Joe gave up his marriage for Hill, it may not pay off for him in the end. Another source tells Radar that Hill is just using Jessica’s dad for his famous connections. "When he met Joe, he knew what a good job he had done in managing Jessica and Ashlee's careers and wanted a piece of the pie himself. But the sad thing is, he mocks and laughs at Joe behind his back. He doesn't care for him in the same way Joe does for Bryce.”
