LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Joanna Krupa is heading to Playboy.

The model and current "Dancing With the Stars" competitor, who presently is residing on the top of the leaderboard with professional partner, Derek Hough, confirmed she posed for the December cover.

Joanna worked with fashion photographer Rankin for the shoot.

"You know, the only reason I did it is because one of the most amazing photographers - Rankin," she told Access. "He's one of the top photographers in the world."

And Joanna said her pictorial in the magazine - which is reportedly not a nude spread -- is very special.

"It's all [done] with taste, class," she said. "It's very artistic. It's going to take Playboy to a level they've never gone before, so it's going to be really classy and beautiful."

Joanna previously appeared on the cover of the magazine in July 2005.
