LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Despite having Derek Hough as her professional partner and a second place overall finish on Monday night, Joanna Krupa was booted from the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom on Tuesday night.
The model was eliminated just one week shy of the Season 9 finale, but Joanna noted her time on the show was rewarding.

"It's been such an amazing experience," she said. "Thank you to the judges. I've grown as a person and thank you for giving me the opportunity. I had a great partner."
Derek didn't get a chance to say any parting words as instead of the usual quickie dance while the credits rolled, the two actually performed a final dance - a graceful Viennese waltz.

But later that night, Derek offered some final words on Twitter.
"Thank you everyone for your support .. Amazing season .. I saw it coming, but couldn't be more proud and happy with how this season went," he wrote.
While it was bad news for Joanna, her elimination allowed Kelly Osbourne and her partner, Louis van Amstel, a birth into the finals.

Kelly's parents - Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne - smiled and jumped out of their seats with glee when they found out their daughter made it to the last round..
Kelly and Louis will compete against Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson, and Mya and Dmitry Chaplin next week.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com Whitney Houston will sing on Tuesday's season finale.

JoanieWell, once again the public got it wrong. Yes Kelly is sweet and Donny everyone likes him, but people this is a dancing contest and Joanna is a dancer. Yes, Mya should win but Joanna should be in the finals with her. If I were Donny and Kelly I would be imbarassed and not want to compete. It is just like last year the wrong person won. CMMKelly has been the "most improved".......Donny has a wonderful fan base and is probably "most popular". I thought it would come down to Mya and Joanna and Mya being the winner. I still think Mya will win......but I feel so good for both Donny and Kelly. She's been amazing.......not good enough to win by any means but she truly has done a great job.
