The Real Housewives of New York may be adding two new castmates for its third season -- but no baby for Bethenny Frankel, says her pal Jill Zarin.

Responding to yesterday's reports that Frankel, 38, is pregnant, Zarin insisted to usmagazine.com "It's a rumor!" at Monday's opening night party for the Broadway show Memphis.andnbsp; "I don't know why someone started that," she added.

But Zarin was still thrilled over news of Frankel's engagement to Jason Hoppy, her boyfriend of 11 months. "Isn't that great?! I called, reached out and sent something to the house," she said.

Zarin, 46, had nothing but praise for the spouses-to-be. "They're a great couple. He's a very nice guy -- very handsome and sweet."

The Manhattanite had less to share about the two newbies (Sonja Morgan, 45 and an as-yet-unidentified woman) entering the Housewives fray this season. "I didn't know either of them before," she admits.

Will any original housewives be leaving the cast to accommodate the new additions? "I don't know anything," she claimed. "All I can say is that I've never seen eight housewives!"

    I don't watch the show but the pic of Beth above is umm el yuck for a 38 y/o, she looks 10 years older. The pic posted with the article confirming her pregnancy is much much better....so which is the more true likeness picture, this one or the other....?     I used to like Bethenny. But since the first season she's become full of herself saying snotty things about people she doesn't know and has never met (and who are real celebrities with talent and not just on a crappy reality show on basic cable!) and frankly I'm sick of hearing about her. I don't care if she's pregnant or engaged.
