Jessica Simpson was spotted shopping for wedding dresses in Los Angeles at the ritzy Monique Lhuillier wedding boutique, where the gowns are said to cost from $3,000 to $20,000 a pop. And, speaking of "pop," the 31-year-old has seemed to quite a bit recently, with her baby bump growing larger every day.
Did the singer change her mind about a post-baby ceremony? Simpson told US Weekly that she and her fiance', Eric Johnson, wanted to wait until after their little one was born as she didn't want to be stressed out while she was with child, and she also wants to be able to enjoy her day.
It's possible the "Dukes of Hazard" star just wanted to get an idea of what she likes before she buys, or she may have been shopping for friend Cacee Cobb, her former personal assistant and close friend, who is engaged to "Scrubs" actor Donald Faison.
If she has changed her mind, as we all know it's a woman's prerogative, she's going to have to hurry. Though her due date is said to be in the spring, the blonde recording artist looks farther along, and our bet is on an early spring delivery if not sooner.
It's certainly not unheard of in Hollywood, or even among us more average folks, to wed with a baby bump.
Model Heidi Klum married musician Seal on May 10, 2005 and gave birth to son Henry Gunter Ademola Dashtu Samuel just four months later. That makes the stunning blonde around five months pregnant during their beach ceremony in Mexico. It would have been difficult to hide a baby bump at that point, even on her incredible bod.
