Joined by her mother Tina, Jessica, 29, arrived at the West Hollywood home of famed jeweler Pascal Mouawad around 8:30 p.m. and headed straight upstairs, where she stayed for about 30 minutes. She posed for a few photos and was given thousands of dollars of free jewelry, including a $10,000 ring.

When asked by Usmagazine.com how she was doing, she replied, "Good."
Simpson looked tan and fit as she worked the room in a sparkly black dress and lots of jewelry.

She also appeared in better spirits, laughing as she made her way down the stairs. She greeted Lane Garrison before heading to dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel. (Joe Simpson was Garrison's former youth pastor in Texas.)

After the bash, Jessica Tweeted: "Just left my dad's new artist An-Ya's single release celebration with my family. Good luck sweetheart! You are a doll."
Lindsay Lohan was also in attendance with an entourage of girls, but no Sam Ronson.
