LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Weeks after Jessica Simpson's dog, Daisy, was snatched by a coyote, the singer is being forced to relive the pain of her missing pooch.
"People have been contacting my family and friends saying that Daisy has been found," Jessica wrote on her Twitter account on Sunday. "Untrue."

The 29-year-old lashed out at the pranksters in her Tweet.
"People are so cruel," she continued. "Please respect her memory."

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Jessica and her family employed the use of tracking dogs, relentless searches, a mass calling of neighbors and posters in her neighborhood in hopes of finding Daisy.
Jessica's ex, Nick Lachey - who gave Daisy to the pop star - told Access earlier this month that he too was affected by Daisy's apparent death.
"I think a lot of people forget that Daisy was my dog too -- for years," Nick told Access. "I didn't reach out to [Jessica.] I'm sure she was upset... I was upset... It was sad to hear that happened, but it's part of the cycle of life."
