The wedding bells have barely stopped ringing, and Jessica Biel is already talking about working with new husband Justin Timberlake. In a recent interview, the 30-year-old "Hitchcock" star talked about the chances of appearing in a movie with Justin down the road. "I would [act with him] if it was the right thing," said the stunning actress. "I'm not sure what the right thing is. I think you have to be very careful about working with your partner. But that would be so much fun; I absolutely adore him." While many married stars meet while making movies, there aren't a lot of examples of couples working together after they walked down the aisle. In fact, some of the most famous examples involve pairs that eventually got divorced. Perhaps that's a trend that Jessica might want to consider. Here is a look at some notable couples that headlined a movie after they were married.
Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman - "Far and Away" and "Eyes Wide Shut"
Tom and Nicole hit it off while making "Days of Thunder," and they appeared in the 1992 drama "Far and Away" just two years after their wedding. Seven years later, the two joined together again on the big screen for "Eyes Wide Shut." The sex-themed film would be the final project for legendary director Stanley Kubrick, who died before its release. The movie received positive reviews, but it didn't perform well at the box office. As it turned out, the marriage between the two stars didn't last long after the film came out. The two split in 2001, and have both been remarried since then.
The two met while filming "The Marrying Man," and tied the knot in 1993. Between their wedding and the birth of daughter Ireland in 1995, they found time to shoot the thriller "The Getaway" together. The movie received mostly negative reviews, and Kim even received recognition from the Razzie Awards. Not surprisingly, the two didn't work together again. They separated in 2000, leading to one of the bitterest divorces that Hollywood has ever seen.
After falling in love while filming 1987's "Inner Space," Dennis and Meg eventually got married in 1991. In 1993, Meg took a break from romantic comedies to co-star in the drama "Flesh and Bone" with her husband. The movie became noteworthy for the early work of Gwyneth Paltrow, but it did little for the careers of the two leads. The two remained married until 2001, but they never appeared in a movie together again. Meanwhile, their son Jack made his film debut in the box office smash "The Hunger Games" earlier this year.
