Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake Tie the Knot: Other Secret Celebrity Weddings

    Jessica Biel

It's official! Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake are married.

The on-again / off-again couple are finally getting their happily ending after tying the knot in a private ceremony in southern Italy surrounded by their family of friends. A few stars were able to snag an invitation to the super secret event including Biel's "7th Heaven" co-star Beverly Mitchell, "SNL" star Andy Samberg, and rapper Timbaland.

"It's great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends," the couple say in a statement to People magazine. The weekly publication will have exclusive rights to the photos of the wedding in their next issue.

The couple started dating in January 2007 and split in March 2011. It took a few months apart for them both to realize they truly belonged together and they reunited. Timberlake proposed to his lady love in December 2011 during a vacation outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Throughout their engagement, the couple has been able to keep the details of their big day under wraps. It seems to be the latest trend in celebrity circles to skip the hoopla and amp up the romance. Which other stars have been able to keep their wedding plans a secret?

Natalie Portman: The "Black Swan" actress was able to keep her August 2012 wedding to longtime boyfriend Benjamin Millepied a secret from the world until after their big day. For their big day, the couple opted for an intimate Jewish ceremony at a private home in Big Sur, California. The newlyweds met on the set of her Oscar-winning role in the 2010 thriller and are parents to a 15-month-old son, Aleph.

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr: The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor and his supermodel wife kept their 2010 wedding a total secret. Despite starting to date in 2007, the couple kept the majority of their relationship on the down low right up until they announced their engagement in June 2010. It was the speed of their one month engagement that threw the press for a loop when they announced that they had married in a small private ceremony the next month. Six months later, the couple welcomed their first child, son Flynn, in January 2011.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green: One way to keep a celebrity wedding a secret is to keep the guest list small. For the "Transformers" star and her "90210" beau they went as low as you can go with the guest list, only inviting Brian's 8-year-old son to their beach side Hawaiian wedding in 2010. The couple just welcomed their first child, son Noah, in September 2012.
