Let the record show that the world is thrilled that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have found love. The couple (engaged the latter part of 2011) recently showcased their loveliness on the beaches of Puerto Rico. As the world prepares for the next big Hollywood wedding, Biel makes an interesting statement. In an interview with The Associated Press she admitted that she didn't think she'd get married. When it comes to her romance with Justin Timberlake, some fans also had their doubts about where things were headed.
Justin dated Cameron Diaz for a few years---an era that was marked with lots of canoodling, a bit of tabloid press time, and ultimately a pretty amicable break-up. But while they were together, they seemed like two peas in a pod. They were even the subject of an engagement rumor in 2005. Everyone knows that all good things must come to an end. But for a while, we thought Cameron was it.
Justin's Romantic RosterAfter his split with the "There's Something About Mary" star, he spent a bit of time enjoying his eligible bachelor status. Linked to a few Hollywood hotties including Scarlett Johansson, it wasn't expected that he'd settle down anytime soon. By the time he'd started dating Jessica, we assumed he was simply having another fling. And for a while we wondered whether Justin might have some commitment issues. Alas, we were wrong.
Equally yoked?Justin's ever-reaching ambitions have found him all over the planet. If he's not directing a film, he's getting dropped on someone's latest single. And when he really gets bored, he's repping his William Rast clothing line or running a restaurant. The R&B crooner's ladylove has been in the business for more than a decade. Thus, no one's implying that Jessica doesn't have her own successful career. She has clearly established herself as one of Hollywood's darlings. But the world wonders whether he would eventually grow weary of her perpetual under-the-radar status.
The Temporary SplitJust when it seemed the two could get no cozier, The "New Years Eve" beauty and Timberlake broke up in March 2011. The singer was back to his bachelor ways, we thought. But the pair eventually mended their relationship. Although most people love the happy ending, sometimes they just don't believe in the potential success of romantic reunions. Sometimes they don't stick; so we're just leery of them. Nonetheless, that these two are headed for the altar is definitely a good sign.
