Jessica Biel was a blushing bride for her wedding day!
Justin Timberlake was so excited by his beautiful bride's decision to skip white in favor of blush pink for his wedding that he literally jumped for joy on the cover of People magazine. The bride and groom showed off their big day in the new issue of of the weekly magazine. "It was a really special evening," Timberlake tells the magazine. Biel adds, "It was a total fantasy experience."
When it came to her wedding fashion, the "Total Recall" actress skipped the traditional white gown instead opting to wear a custom designed petal pink gown designed by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture. The result was the perfect fairy tale princess effect. On Monday, Jessica showed off some brand new bling when she stepped out wearing her brand new wedding band paired with her engagement ring while enjoying the aftermath of her weekend wedding in Fasano, Italy.
With her decision to skip white and wear pale pink, the actress joins a growing trend in the celebrity wedding venue -- the color wedding gown. Here are some of the stars who skipped white recently:
Amber Tamblyn: The "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" star was the most recent celebrity bride to shun white for her October 6 wedding to "Arrested Development" actor David Cross. For her big day, the bride traded in the traditional ivory dress in order to wear a canary yellow dress for the event.
Drew Barrymore: The bride wore white and black for her big day! The "Ever After" star showed off her traditional side wearing a gorgeous white gown designed by Chanel for her wedding in June 2012. A free spirit at heart, she did throw in a splash of color by adding a black satin belt to the traditional gown. Never one to play it totally safe, she added a black tweed jacket to the ensemble to stay warm during the evening celebration.
Reese Witherspoon: The second time bride decided to wear pink for her April 2011 wedding to agent Jim Toth. For her big day, the Oscar winner opted to wear a custom designed Monique Lhuillier gown in pale pink. Not one to flaunt tradition, she did change into a casual white dress for the evening festivities.
Anne Hathaway: She has always been a vocal fan of fashion, so it should have come as no surprise that the bride wore pink for her October 2012 wedding to Adam Shulman. The couture fairytale gown was designed by Valentino himself that looked white from a distance, but had a soft romantic pink tint to it.
